TREGER AND ROB STRASBERG

Treger and Rob Strasberg founded Humble Design in 2009, after a pivotal encounter with a homeless family. Although the family eventually found a house they could afford, they didn’t have room in their budget to furnish their new home. With the help of her friends in the community, Treger started collecting beds, linens, furniture and kitchen items to help furnish the new house. Soon Treger was overwhelmed with donations, and decided to pivot her focus from one family to all families in need of furniture. Humble Design was created. Humble Design serves individuals, families, and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming empty houses into welcoming homes using donated furniture and household goods. They assist the transformation of thousands of homes and lives in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, and Seattle.
